Old Town as the dance floor, no chain bars in sight.

Edinburgh is built for a hen weekend. The Royal Mile delivers a silent-disco walking tour better than any city in the UK. The shore (Newhaven, Leith) gives you the apartments + harbour vibe London tries to fake. The Old Town gives you cocktail bars that have been there 200 years. And the train pulls in from London in 4.5 hours.

Our Edinburgh houses are picked for groups of 8 to 38. Most are 5-15 minutes from central by tram or taxi. The bigger apartment buildings give you the full Wild Child takeover; the shore apartments give you a quieter base with city access. Pick the package, we slot the right house.

Why hens book with Flock,
instead of planning everything themselves.

  1. We organise the weekend.

Hen houses, activities, dining, the Saturday-night plan. Your hen planner who has walked the house and booked the suppliers. You give us the bride's vibe; we come back with a shape that fits her.

  2. We chase the money.

Each hen pays us £50 to hold a place, then three monthly Payday instalments. 0 reminders you have to send. We chase. You don't.

  3. We plan every detail, you celebrate.

Houses, activities, dining — all booked and confirmed before the weekend starts. We plan every detail so things run smoothly and you can focus on the bride.

Flock dealt with all the payments so I didn't have to chase anyone up. Taking off any added stress.

The most amazing weekend in Kingussie. Eilidh, who organised everything, couldn't be more helpful.

Took the stress out of my hen do in Bath. Everything was easy. They sorted a payment plan and organised the activities.

Slight hiccup 3 days before, original owners had double-booked. Kat was immediately on the case and found us an incredible replacement.

Save-the-day

What Edinburgh brides said

"We did the silent disco around the Royal Mile and the cocktail class at Sub 13 and the bride is still talking about it. Easiest weekend I've ever planned because I didn't actually plan it."— Holly W., maid of honour, Edinburgh
"The Zen Bride at the shore was exactly what we needed. Reformer pilates on the Saturday, sea air, private chef. The bride breathed for the first time in months."— Anna K., best friend, Edinburgh shore apartments

The honest answers

How many guests do Edinburgh packages work for?

Sweet spot is 10 to 24, which fits most of our Edinburgh apartments. We can go up to 38 in the larger apartment takeovers (Captains, etc.). Below 10 the per-person price climbs because the house is a fixed cost shared across the group.

Are the activities flexible inside a package?

Yes. Each package is a starting point. If your bride doesn't want a silent disco but does want a gin taste and tour, we swap. If your group has a vegan, the chef adapts. The weekend should fit her, not the other way round.

Is the silent disco actually any good?

It's the runaway most-booked Edinburgh activity for a reason. Three audio channels, three captains in costume, the Royal Mile closed-feeling at night. Group dances down a cobbled street, locals join in, the bride leads. Better than any club in the city for a hen group.

When should we book an Edinburgh package for the summer?

Six to nine months out for May to September Saturdays. Edinburgh Fringe (August) books out 12+ months ahead — get on it now. Most groups confirming now are booking for next spring or autumn.
