Loch-side mornings, distillery afternoons, no neighbours.

The Scottish Highlands is the slow hen weekend. The setting forces a pace whether you want it or not — lochs, glens, working distilleries, coastal walks, hot tubs at the back of the lodge. Five hours from London, 90 minutes from Edinburgh, an hour from Inverness.

Our Highland lodges are picked for groups of 10 to 22. Most are 15-45 minutes from the nearest village. Some are properly remote, with the loch as the front door and no neighbours for half a mile. Pick the package, we slot the right lodge.

Why hens book with Flock,
instead of planning everything themselves.

  1. We organise the weekend.

Hen houses, activities, dining, the Saturday-night plan. Your hen planner who has walked the house and booked the suppliers. You give us the bride's vibe; we come back with a shape that fits her.

  2. We chase the money.

Each hen pays us £50 to hold a place, then three monthly Payday instalments. 0 reminders you have to send. We chase. You don't.

  3. We plan every detail, you celebrate.

Houses, activities, dining — all booked and confirmed before the weekend starts. We plan every detail so things run smoothly and you can focus on the bride.

Flock dealt with all the payments so I didn't have to chase anyone up. Taking off any added stress.

The most amazing weekend in Kingussie. Eilidh, who organised everything, couldn't be more helpful.

Slight hiccup 3 days before, original owners had double-booked. Kat was immediately on the case and found us an incredible replacement.

Save-the-day

What the Highlands brides said

"We did the distillery on the Saturday afternoon and the cooper showed us how to work the still. The bride had to be peeled off the dram cabinet. Best two hours of the weekend."— Iona M., maid of honour, Highlands
"Loch-side yoga at sunrise was the moment everyone went silent. Whole group still tells the story. We were back at the lodge in time for bacon rolls."— Cat S., best friend, Highlands

The honest answers

How many guests do Highland packages work for?

Sweet spot is 10 to 18, which fits most of our Highland lodges. We can go up to 22 in the bigger lodges. Below 10 the per-person price climbs because the lodge is a fixed cost shared across the group.

Are the activities flexible inside a package?

Yes. Each package is a starting point. If your bride doesn't want mini Highland Games but does want wild swimming, we swap. If your group has a vegan, the chef adapts. The weekend should fit her, not the other way round.

How remote are the Highland lodges?

Most are 15-45 minutes from the nearest village. Some are properly remote, with the loch as the front door and no neighbours for half a mile. Your planner factors in the journey time when stitching the activity day together.

Can we drive between activities?

Most Highland activities are 20-45 minutes' drive between, so a designated driver or a pre-booked minibus handles the day. Your planner sorts the transport and adds the cost to each guest's payment plan.

When should we book a Highland package for the summer?

Six to nine months out for May to September Saturdays. The most-loved lodges go 12+ months ahead. Most groups confirming now are booking for next spring or summer.
